27 April 1943, partial engine failure during take-off swung off runway, undercarriage collapsed (photo Brian Walker)
A19-5 (T4924) was a MK.1c Beaufighter built by the Fairy Aviation Co. Stockport UK received by the RAAF on 20 April 1942. It arrived at 30 Squadron on 15 June 1942 it was coded “F” and on 25 April 1944 it arrived at 5 OUT.
