Was born on 18 January 1923 in Sydney NSW, he enlisted in the RAAF on 29 April 1941 in Brisbane QLD. He was a Warrant Officer and navigator he probably arrived at 30 Squadron in October 1944 and flew 2 sorties with pilot Flight Lieutenant J D Entwistle. He left 30 Squadron on 12 October 1944 and returned again on 20 February 1945 and flew 1 sortie with Entwistle. He was discharged from the RAAF on 1 February 1946 with the rank of Flying Officer whilst serving with No 22 Squadron.
