He was a Sergeant and navigator, he arrived at 30 Squadron on 12 February 1945 and flew 4 sorties with pilots Pilot Offficer A Leask and Flying Officer M M Trew . He left 30 Squadron on 18 October 1945, he was discharged from the RAAF on 1 May 1946 with the rank of Flying Officer whilst serving at 1 ACFT Depot.
